Abstract—Two approaches for the geoenvironmental assessment of former refuse tipping sites are considered:
as centers of contamination of the geological environment upon solving the problem of their use in the urban
infrastructure and in the context of the formation of a secondary source of pollution of the ground and surface
water in rocks within the dump areas.
