Abstract—The possibility of using waste effluents from pulp and paper mills as the basis for producing liquid
agroameliorants is considered. Experimentally, by filtrating wastewater through calcium-containing substrates
(marble chipping, limestone, and boiler coal ashes), irrigation water with an optimum content of biogenous ele-
ments (Ca, Mg, and K) was obtained. This experimental irrigation water was tested under conditions of a small-
plot experiment. A long-term prediction for the impact of the extended use of the agroameliorants is given.
