Abstract—The authors examine principal methodological approaches to studying stimulated seismicity in the
areas of water power developments. On the example of data on seismicity in the areas of the Sayan–Shushen-
skoe, Zeya, and Chirkei hydroelectric stations, they demonstrate the importance of the completeness and reli-
ability of seismological data, as well as of their availability for determining stimulated seismicity in the course
of investigations of seismic regimes.
