Abstract—The structure of the real geological environment is characterized by a complex block hierarchy. As
a result of external natural and technological disturbances, blocks are conformably or unconformably
deformed, which should be taken into account during geological control of local sections of the Earth’s crust.
The results of spatial measurements of differential motions of block structures under the seismic effects are pre-
sented. The measurements were performed in underground excavations and on the Earth’s surface. The ampli-
tudes of differential motions considerably exceed seismic wave displacements and are alternating.
